How to Use Our Propane Shackle
Our propane shackle is super easy to use.
1. PLACE IT
Position the tanks side by side. Place the lock arm on the tank collars. The grooves on the lock arm are designed to grip the tank collars. Ensure the lock is snug and secure before moving on to the next step.
2. BOLT IT
Our propane tank lock comes with two nuts to secure the lock onto the tanks. Tighten the nuts by hand until snug, one after the other. You can also use a wrench to tighten the nuts further and ensure a secure fit.
3. LOCK IT
Place the propane locking device over the nuts. Then, slide the "U" shaped shackle underneath and tighten. Our propane tank lock system already comes with a free padlock with a long "U" shaped shackle for convenience.
